Dairy-Free

Cheese

Many people who cannot tolerate cow’s milk cheese can eat sheep or goat.

There are a couple of soya ‘cheeses’ to be had in health food stores. The hard cheeses do not bear much resemblance to a farmhouse cheddar but are useful for pizzas, sandwiches etc. The soft ‘Philly’ type soya based cheeses tend to work rather better
